Rafiki raised his staff, and shook it over their heads. Zamaradi and Koti pressed close together, their eyes shining with excitement and affection. When they arrived, Rafiki led Koti and Zamaradi to stand in front of the pedestal, the rest of the pride spreading out around them.
He, Zazu, and Rafiki began to lead the way to Mizimu Grove. Simba led the way out of the den, his gaze sweeping over the gathered members of the pride. “It looks like everyone’s already gathered, Grandpa.” Zamaradi reported. Zamaradi moved to glance out of the entrance to the den, her eyes lighting up as she caught sight of Koti. “Let’s join the rest of the pride.” Simba said. “It’s time to proceed to Mizimu Grove for the ceremony.” Rafiki said. Kovu, Kiara, Belee, Shauri, and Denahi had gathered around the three of them.īehind Simba, Rafiki cleared his throat pointedly. Nala came over, and pressed her muzzle against Zamaradi’s shoulder. “I’m very proud of you, my darling.” Simba said. Simba brushed his muzzle along Zamaradi’s spine affectionately, a purr rumbling in his chest. Zamaradi stood up and came forward to meet him. Simba’s expression softened and he moved towards her. Suddenly, Simba appeared at the entrance of the den, closely followed by Rafiki and Nala. He leaned over and rasped his tongue over Zamaradi’s ear affectionately. “Your mother and I found our Upendi, and we’re very proud to watch you and Koti find yours.” Kovu added. We understand the importance of finding someone you feel you have a true connection with.” Kiara said. “Your father and I remember when we found each other all those seasons ago. Kiara leaned closer to Zamaradi, pressing her muzzle against Zamaradi’s flank. “Your mother and I believe that you and Koti will be very happy together, darling.” Kovu said. Kovu and Kiara exchanged a warm glance, their eyes shining with pride and affection. “He’ll be a wonderful brother-in-law.” Shauri said. “We’re so excited for you, sis.” Belee said. I can’t wait to become Koti’s mate.” Zamaradi said excitedly.īelee, Denahi, and Shauri’s eyes were wide with excitement and enthusiasm as they crowded close to Zamaradi’s pelt. Meanwhile, Zamaradi and her family had gathered inside the den. “Zamaradi obviously thinks you’re worthy, since she fell in love with you.” Ekwensi said. I only hope I’m worthy of receiving it.” Koti replied. “You know being welcomed into Simba’s family is a great honor, Koti.” Anenih said. “What truly matters is how you and Zamaradi feel about each other, son. Zamaradi and her family are very lucky.” Ekwensi said. Nayeli, Anenih, and Ekwensi exchanged swift glances. I’m not sure if I’m worthy to be welcomed as Simba’s grandson-in-law.” Koti admitted. On a calm evening in the Pride Lands, Koti was settled down outside the den, joined by Nayeli, Anenih, and Ekwensi. Zamaradi and Koti get married while Nala shares her worries about Kion to Simba.
